We have been deeply saddened to follow the destruction along the east coast from Hurricane Sandy, and were hit close to home by the damage to our neighboring state of New Jersey. Our summer shorehouse, where over 150 guests stayed this summer, was located on a beachblock in Ventnor and has been severely damaged by the storm.
We are collecting funds to donate directly to the Jewish Federation of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, who were working before the storm to prepare residents and are now assisting on the ground. Their servers are currently down, but we will post updates about their relief efforts as soon as we have them.
We have created this online form to enable credit card donations, and in addition, from now until November 20th, volunteers will be collecting spare change and cash donations at all of our events.
We are a 501c3 non-profit. All donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by the law.
Thank you to Gavy Alter for spearheading this initiative and to Gratz College for partnering with us.
