Tribe 12, founded in September 2010, is a network of intertwined projects that offer a holistic and diverse approach to 20s and 30s Jewish engagement. Our approach empowers 20s and 30s, who identify as Jewish in any way, in choosing a Jewish community or network today, leading to a life-long, personally significant Jewish connection.
…in other words—we get 20s and 30s to connect with the parts of the Jewish world that you truly care about!
Tribe 12 annually engages upwards of 3000 individuals and 250 volunteers at over 200 events.
Tribe 12 currently has four core projects: The Collaborative, running programming since 1998, is your social switchboard to the Philly Jewish scene--with over 150 social, cultural, service, and educational events per year; the Tribe 12 Fellowship, an incubator/accelerator for innovative venture projects connected to and/or inspired by Jewish society and values and a development program for emerging leaders; Tribe Commons, co-working, emerging entrepreneurial community and programming grounded in Jewish community and values; and Spectrum Philly, which is THE address for Jewish LGBTQ 20s and 30s in the Philadelphia area.
