Deep Breath Baking

Deep Breath Baking gathers inspiration from the Jewish practice of preparing challah bread for Shabbat. Weaving in yoga practice and philosophy, the workshop offers an experience with a simple, universal message: rest is in the recipe. Deep Breath Baking warmly welcomes people of all backgrounds and experiences to benefit from these wise (and delicious) traditions.

About the Founder:

A Philly native and avid traveler, Michal loves exploring other cultures and sharing her own. She is an experienced educator, dynamic facilitator, and certified yoga teacher with a penchant for combining seemingly unrelated things.

Update from Michal: Michal's venture has expanded into "well healing arts", which incorporates her work as a yoga teacher, singer-songwriter, and educator. Her signature workshop Deep Breath Baking is still going strong-- she just led three workshops in one week, including at Le Mood, Montreal's version of Limmud. She recently had an excellent run at the Philly Fringe Festival with her show, Crossing Imaginary Lines: a musical yoga journey. Michal also hreleased her first music video for her song"We're Getting There" which is about SEPTA and was featured on theMayor's Transportation blog. She is now in the process of recording her first album and working on a second music video. Michal is offering an end-of-year workshop,"Full Moon, Full Breath", where attendees can practice yoga and set intentions for the coming year.
