Amir is a Managing Director of Susquehanna Growth Equity and formed the group in 2006. He focuses on investments in SaaS software and financial technology. He also oversees SIG’s broader private equity investing activities in the United States, Europe, and Israel.
Amir currently sits on the boards of iCIMS, JK Group, Netformx, PaySimple and Zyme Solutions. He previously served on the boards of CashEdge (acquired by Fiserv), Plimus (acquired by Great Hill Partners), ESP Technologies (acquired by Investment Technology Group), Kashya (acquired by EMC), and Prosight (acquired by Primavera/Oracle) and was involved in investments in ClariFI (acquired by Standard & Poor’s), Whale Communications (acquired by Microsoft), Paradigm Geophysical (NASDAQ, then acquired by Apax) and Crossworlds (NASDAQ, then acquired by IBM).
Amir brings more than 17 years of technology investing experience to SGE. He previously led growth investments in financial technology and software at TL Ventures and BRM Capital. He was also an investment banker at Robertson Stephens where he was involved in several public offerings and M&A transactions. Amir has extensive experience helping international companies penetrate the North American marketplace.
Amir is a frequent lecturer at the Wharton School and taught entrepreneurial management at to second year MBA candidates from 2005-2010. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
