Jonathan Harmon - Executive Director, Hebrew Free Loan Society
Jonathan Harmon has been in the social work field for 3 decades, working in a variety of settings in and around Philadelphia including community mental health, services to critically ill children and their families and a private practice for couples. Jonathan has taught generalist social work practice at La Salle University and was adjunct faculty in Drexel University's Master of Family Therapy Program in the '80s and '90s. Since 2000, Jonathan has worked in nonprofit management for the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, as a consultant and volunteer for the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia and recently for Family Services of Montgomery County as Director of Development.
Jonathan received a BA from Brandeis University in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and an MSS from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. He and his wife, Martha, who is an organization development consultant, enjoy the arts, hiking, flat water kayaking and hanging out on a beach any time of year.
